POLAROID PROJECT - a collaboration with Alan Constable

Arts Project Australia

June 14 - July 12  2014

To be officially opened by Kirsty Grant - Head of Australian Art,

National Gallery of Victoria.          Opening - Saturday, June 14, 3 - 5pm.

Polaroid Project is an in-depth collaborative project between Peter Atkins (Tolarno Galleries, Melbourne) and Alan Constable (Arts Project Australia, Melbourne) with both artists responding to collected Polaroid packaging and cameras manufactured in the 1960s and 1970s. Presenting a shared interest in the reinterpretation of existing forms, Polaroid Project offers the viewer an opportunity to experience the complimentary ways these diverse artists view their distinctive worlds.
