My work for Love In The Time Of COVID-19 finds inspiration close to home…in our kitchen drawer.

A common item found in most homes and used primarily in times of emergencies, the EVEREADY Flashlight Battery.

It seemed appropriate to reference this product during these dark days, a time of fear, confusion and uncertainty for everyone.

The logo on the battery has been deconstructed - stripped of all pictorial and textual elements.

The focus has been shifted to the beautiful red and blue abstract forms beneath...floating together in isolation.
